Jim and I recently attended LPL Financial’s Focus 2022 annual conference, the largest national educational conference hosted by LPL. This year’s event took place in Denver. As always, it proved to be a very informative trip allowing us to hear from industry experts on key challenges and opportunities facing financial services today. We look forward to incorporating our experience with PWM to help us deliver further value to our clients.
One of the keynote speakers was Malcolm Gladwell, author of six New York Times bestsellers. He discussed some of the societal challenges happening in the United States, including how donors to large college institutions would be better served to help lesser-known colleges that have shown an ability to help their graduates advance in society vs. their larger counterparts with much larger endowments. He made a challenging topic both entertaining and informative and I left very impressed.
